We visited the marina with friends who were staying from the northwest of the country and had never visited Hull before. They were amazed at the lightship, having never seen one before! They were very disappointed however that it is not open to the public....More

Such an interesting find in the Hull Marina, well preserved, well informed and a delight to the eye as well as heartwarming as to the tough lives that were had by all those onboard this old lightship!! History that can never be forgotten!!

Although we never stopped to go and see this, we passed it and I am so pleased it is still there. Brings back many memories.

Only giving it a poor score because I have been many times over the years and it's never open, seems a bit odd, other Hull Museums seem to be free and open all year. I guess this is some private operation with unavailable volunteer staff?

What a lovely part of history to see a light house on a boat. Moored in the marina for every one to view and look at history gone by.
