Such an interesting find in the Hull Marina, well preserved, well informed and a delight to the eye as well as heartwarming as to the tough lives that were had by all those onboard this old lightship!! History that can never be forgotten!!

this is moored up in the marina which i understand you can visit but wasnt available the day i went .guess night time it obviously lights up being called The Spurn Lightship i only see it moored up in the marina as i walked past.
Only giving it a poor score because I have been many times over the years and it's never open, seems a bit odd, other Hull Museums seem to be free and open all year. I guess this is some private operation with unavailable volunteer staff?
