Find me a pub within 30 miles that serves better food. The Sunday Roasts are excellent, the staff are friendly. We had a small family wedding reception upstairs, my 30th birthday was upstairs and we shared a family birthday there last night... We’ve tried many...More

Our party visited Friday 3rd November in the evening. The poor selection of overpriced drinks and meagre seating was tolerable, but not the bad attitude of the young female bartender; we will never return.

What a great find this was . It was packed with Friday night revellers. Great atmosphere , good service at the bar and dining rooms at the rear. Well worth a visit , watch out for the beastly on the wall above the fire place

Came here with a friend for an afternoon Sunday lunch. We sat in the garden and there was some very questionable dodgy reggae music playing loudly from the top window which was a shame. We both had roast beef. The meal itself was fine but...More

We went there for dinner one Sunday. The decor was special. Pictures of pig were every where. Walls were painted black. It had a special character. Well known for their pork belly. We were not disappointed at all. Tasty and flavoursome. My grand son had...More

I'd been trying to organise a surprise birthday meal for my partners 30th birthday for about 4 months. We were originally a very large party of over 20 people. After another restaurant (who shall not be named) cancelled our booking roughly 6 weeks back, deciding...More
