A lot of the council finance for this venue has been recently pulled, so they are nearly totally self-financing now, hence the need now to charge in the car-park. The venue hosts a wide variety of shows and films and gets the occasional big name...More

Good quality performances of everything from opera to plays at reasonable prices, plus films and talks. A good bar and refreshment area with seating. Some parking, but also near public car parks..

You pay for parking in the tiny car park if you can find a space, and make sure you eat or drink before you go as the bar and cafe are overpriced. The staff in charge of this place are unfriendly.
