Cellar bar looks inauspicious, but don't be shy, it's lovely and is managed by friendly, cheery souls who want nothing more than to make you welcome with their fine beers and spirits and what looked like excellent food. Wish we could have stayed longer -...More

Good bar for a chilled out evening with friends and some live music. Great food. Especially the steak. Good selection of beers for the real ale drinkers too. Cosy garden when it gets sunny too. 5 stars

Blakes is a very comfortable place to eat and drink. There are no fruit machines or loud music. There is a lovely garden area which is a sun trap and an intimate downstairs bar. Staff and landlord where friendly. Very much enjoyed our visit.
