The pub was very busy because the Brickendon Village Fete was taking place on the Green. We were a party of 12 people. The service was just excellent. The staff were unfailingly helpful and attentive, and very friendly. The meals were all very good. This...More

Visited a few times now. Upon entering the staff make you feel so welcome. The food is superb and the portions are huge. I’ve not tried dessert as I’m always too full but they look delicious. Well worth a visit.

We’ve been to this pub many times over the years but today we were disappointed. The food was fine, good pub grub, but we found it hard having two small children with us. The garden is ‘adult orientated’ so if they’re under 10 years old...More

Hi lizjump, You rightly mention our garden is adult orientated, this unfortunately is as a result of parents allowing kids to run wild and ruining the experience for other customers - it must be said along with those who have well behaved little ones who...More
