Quite a cool location. Let's you borrow books. Has a museum with a two headed cow a wasps nest and a Roman mosaic. Its free bargain. You can also get CDs and vhs cassettes.

This library has been closed for a year due to the discovery of asbestos in the building. Doesn't seem to be any work being done so disappointed that it has not reopened.

Found within a very attractive old building, not too far from Hereford Cathedral, we found this to be a nice, quaint, fairly small library, with very friendly and helpful staff.

We were hoping to do some family history research, but the library and museum were closed following the discovery of asbestos in the building. Tourist information seemed to have closed for good as well!

Hopefully, the powers that be will keep Hereford library open as it is an essential community hub with a fantastic museum upstairs.

Not visited as a library, but free internet access to check emails while travelling! Location is between Green Dragon Hotel and Hereford Cathedral. I think it's not open Mondays (?)

Have computers upstairs to use for research, need to ring in advance just in case you go on a busy day.
