Purchased a Hi-life deal for my partner and myself. A tad apprehensive as some reviews had not been the best.
Didn't have a problem to book the deal, spoke to a friendly guy, who was more than happy to arrange a day and time that suited us. We were shown around had a fab hour in the facilities on offer. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
Then on for our treatments, massage, facial and foot spa, which were devine, lovely warm room well decorated, lovely relaxing music, fluffy towels to lie on and blankets to cover ourselves with. All in all a well deserved 5 in our books.
Must just say the 2 young ladies doing the treatments were lovely.
And yes we will be back.
Good luck to the new owners. Who are doing a fabulous job.

I dont normally write bad reveiws but I work in a spa myself and have to say it was awful. Floors were dirty in changing rooms and in jacqusi/steam room area, which you have to walk into bare foot. We didnt actually get into jacqusi as walls around it looked dirty and unhygienic. The place looked like a building site, the owner said she was in the process of doing it up but in my opinion it shouldn't have been open. Treatments were ok but client care was terrible. We were also obviously the last clients of the day as a builder was starting work before we had actually left. (Who i'm presuming was the owners boyfriend as she was flirting with him in front of us before while we waited for our taxi). All in all was unprofessional and wish i hadnt of spent money on it....

Just got back from the spa today. It was totally wonderful and the treatments were amazing. Only feedback is that the sauna was far too smokey and had myself and my friend coughing all day to the point we nearly threw up, is this safe?

Thank you for your feed back, Im really glad your experience was good. I can assure you the sauna is perfectly safe, we recently had environmental visit us as we are a brand new company to make sure we are following health and safety procedures and we passed with flying colours, the sauna temperature cant be hotter than 90 degrees and we keep ours at 87. As this is dry heat some people do find it hard to breathe when they are un used to it and may find the steam room better as this is wet heat, And as this was your first time in a sauna this may be why you were coughing as you were not used to it, which is why we provide fresh cold water in the relaxation area for customers to use at their leisure. I appreciate your feed back and welcome your views as this helps us to improve and grow, to be able to offer our clients the best. Kind regards Tranquillity Spa

Was given a highlife deal for my birthday and after reading the reviews was very concerned. All I can say is Ive no idea what the people below's problem is ? I walked in and was greeted by a very pleasant lady who showed us through to the relax room where we filled health cards out, then we were shown round, and told if any problems dont hesitate to ask, we sat in the Jacuzzi which was amazing, lovely temp and very bubbley, steam room had a lovely menthol aroma, there were colour changing lights over the Jacuzzi which just gave an amazing atmosphere, just before our treatments we were asked to get dry and then taken into a room where we had our treatment's together which was a nice touch, the massage was amazing, actually felt like I had a massage, the girls were friendly and polite, we then had lovely scones with cream and jam an little french fancies and tea was lovely I honestly think the bad reviews have either got the wrong spa or are ridiculously hard to please, the whole place was bright and clean, and smelt amazing, we had a thoroughly lovely experience, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Id def recommend this spa, great value for money, they've obviously put a lot of hard work into it and are passionate about taking care of their customers, I look forward to coming again and will be telling everyone, dont believe the bad reviews, they couldnt be further from the truth.

My friend treated me to the day spa and treatment as a birthday present, and I'm sorry to say it was the worst spa I've ever been to. Obviously newly redecorated as there were builders tools stored everywhere and dust all over the floor. Changing facilities were sparse and way too small, and no usable sink near the toilet.
The jacuzzi and steam room were nice, but the stairs up to the sauna were lethal as they'd been gloss painted with no non-slip tread. The paint from the stair rail stuck to my hands leaving a sticky black residue.
We couldn't have a shower afterwards as the water was turned off and none of the staff knew how to turn it on.
When called through for a massage the bed nearly collapsed as the leg hadn't been secured properly.
The massage was nice, but the therapist never checked my medical history with me before she started, something that's been standard in all spa's I've gone to before. It was hard to relax during the massage as the cd of pan pipe music kept skipping.
We'd taken up the offer of paying extra for a cream tea and I really wished we hadn't bothered - we were given a mug of tea and 4 pastries bought from tescos
I hate leaving such a poor review but I want others to be fully aware of what they're buying, the staff could see how disappointed we were but made no apology or offer of compensation.

Appalling service starting with getting an answer to my phone call. Refurbished. Filthy, walking along the tile surface and got dust and mud all over me. No water in the showers. No basin to wash hands in toilet. Health and safety extremely poor. Steps which are wet are painted with gloss paint, no anti-slip at all. Limited matting on tiling by the hot tub. Massage bed not put up properly, if my friend had not tested it before climbing on she would have fallen to the floor. Therapists did not introduce themselves, massage ok nothing spectacular. No evidence of clean towels/coverings on beds between clients. Paid extra for afternoon tea - cakes dumped on a serving platter on paper serviettes, which we had to use as plates. Probably worst spa experience I have ever had.

I've just read this review. All I can say is read the one below how can we be so dredful and so good? Your comments are outrageous. And a lie I urgently request anyone reading this to ignore this foolish attack and look at our Facebook page and judge if you think we are so shocking as this woman suggests. There's no point going through each comment to defend. All I will say is this was day one of opening we had a few minor hiccups that were rectified imediatly and of all the 100s of people we have only a couple of petty people have found fault. Come and judge us and make your own opinions. Please don't listen to this review it is beyond ridiculous

My friend bought me a spa day for my birthday I chose here. Well upon arrival all staff at reception were just standing there and one on the phone (no ackowledgement made) then a younger member of staff showed us to the what they call a lounge which looked a bland dull room. We were then told that other clients were in the Jacuzzi and could we have our massages first. They must of overlapped our booking as we arrived on time. So we had our massages which were very good. We were then shown to the changing room that I can only describe as a small box I am 8 months pregnant and could hardly move. The steam room did not work at all. The Jacuzzi was not good at all only one jet working the rest of the jets were glossed together so could even twist them on very poor indeed. Curtains put up to hide unfinished work everywere paint work and refurbishment looks a very bad job. We also found that the whole experience was rushed and we felt a bit uncomfortable. We managed to go on pur Spa day here after second time of them cancelling on us as well.

Never coming back here.

I've just read your review. I'm devistated you feel your experience was so bad. We have done everything possible to make this place clean and fresh and brand new as quickly as possible. As the other reviews state the building was old and needed so much work. Compared to what it was I feel it's a vast improvement. The steam room does work I have no idea what made you think otherwise? The jacuzzi has brand new pump and works amazingly. The original owner to build it in put to many twists and turns in the pipe work making it the impossible to put a side jet in unfortunately or we would have I can assure you. There weren't any changing rooms when we took over so we put some in, in the only place they could go. Yes they not huge but adequately fit the builder who put them in at over 6 ft and of a very proportionate size. I apologise you found them a tight fit. We went for a neutral colour to suit all our clients taste as so many complained about the colour before and have used pictures to add contrast. I apologise u felt rushed as we pride ourselves in giving all our clients optimum time and no one is given a time scale. I'm pleased you at least felt the treatments were good which in essence is the most important part of the experience. I apologise you felt unacknowledged as all my therapists are trained to be polite and welcoming to everyone. I can only apologise that your visit wasn't up to your expectations. I trust we will do better in future .

Arrived with my daughter at Narvana receptionist polite friendly took us through to l9cker room and into well presented room light with candles had a gazebo and two beds in the room relaxing music being played
The hot stone massage and Indian Head massage was fantastic. At the end the girls said we will get you a glass of water but nothing else so was unsure whether supposed to get dressed or what. We had arranged to go into spa facilities we weren't show any of the things just left to it lu ky enough we have used spas before so we got by. When we got to the sauna up the stairs we needed towels had to use our own as not provided any. When we were dressed we sat on the sofas with a glass of water. There was a menu for tea and coffee but at no point asked if wanted anything
Then staff member came to us and said have you got the money for the spa.

I felt that the massage was excellent
The staff friendly and polite but lacked the customer service that goes with it. It's the extra little touches that make the experience and make you want to return.

As stated in other reviews place is being renovated but looks like going to be lovely

Showers were either too hot or stone cold could not get right temp and then had to walk through lounge area to get to lockers as both male and female bit concerning as only had towel around me. Also when in locker room male came through so a bit concerns there.

All in all had a great massage. Staff although could brush up on customer service skills and go a bit further with the little things like showing around explaining what available offering tea or coffee or even the afternoon tea that we found out you do, they were polite and professional.

Might consider returning see if things different second time when paying full price as we had a Groupon so only paid half price.

I had already read some reviews on Havana Spa so was aware it had changed owners & in the process of refurbishment which it truly needs. On arrival staff were very friendly & efficient. I had already had a call before we got there to tell us the Jacuzzi was in the process of being filled but all other facilities were still available & by the time we had used the sauna & steamrolled it was ready to use & was very relaxing. The massage & facial were amazing. They were professional & firm a very relaxing experience. There were 5 of us in my group & we bought it on wowcher. Even though we paid half price for our treatments & cream tea, we never felt rushed or treated any different than clients paying full price. Would definitely recommend & use again & will be even more enjoyable when the refurbishment is complete. Thanks to all the ladies at Navana Spa for making it a lovely relaxing day. I gave it a 4* rating purely because of the decor not the service but I'm sure it will definitely be a 5* rating when all the referb is complete.
