This was a nice local place to spend a couple of hours one afternoon with my dog. The walk was very pleasant. If you were very into plants, there were signs on each tree naming the type of tree it was. If you're not that...More

We were impressed by Westonbirt arboretum. This was our first visit. There were different walks to take with or without dogs. The bathrooms were spotless and very well looked after. The tree detective walk through Silk Wood was very well organised and kept my 10...More

I hadn't been to Westonbirt for several years as we'd previously been "friends" of the arboretum and visited a lot over a couple of years. They have added lots of sculpture trails for the children and streamlined the eating experience a good day out if...More

We are frequent visitors to the arboretum. This is because it has the most amazing displays of flowers and colour at different times of the year - rhododendrons and other spring flowers, glorious colours of the turning leaves in the autumn. There are plenty of...More

Spent most of the day here, and loved it. Wide variety of stunning trees. Tree top walk gives you a different perspective. Plenty of interesting and educational information boards on all the routes. The old and new arboretums have quite different atmospheres, so well worth...More

Had a really nice walk through the Silk Woods to get away from the sun while enjoying the warm weather. Particularly recommend on a nice summer’s evening!

There are pathways all over the arboretum and I believe dogs are allowed everywhere. The restaurant has tables outside and under cover so dogs can stay with you. Enjoy your trip
