We set off on a circular 5 mile walk from Painswick that finished up on the beacon. The views were beautiful and because it's common land, you can walk where you like.

Took a walk up to the point with the dog. We were cautious after some reviews saying it was difficult to find but this wasn’t the case. Following the signs to painswick, and then the rococo gardens - the ramblers car park was signposted on...More

Stunning views to be had from this amazing hill top vantage point. A little tricky to find at first as though it was initially sign posted off the road there was nothing to direct you after that. There is an impromptu but recognisable car parking...More

Although it was a showery day we had a lovely walk up to Painswick Beacon. The views, even on a dull day, were impressive and worth the walk. Do watch out for rogue golf balls, as the walk goes through the golf course.

Great view from the beacon and well worth the the walk. Best if you start from the ramblers car park and go from there. Easy to find and a good experience.

Very lucky to visit the Beacon on a lovely sunny day affording fantastic 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. Well worth a visit.

Quaint setting through woods and over a really quirky golf course. Views stunning. You can see for miles and free parking available. For a 1 to hour stroll it is ideal and idyllic.

We drove here for a picnic in order to take advantage of the viewpoint. You can see 360 degrees and the views towards the Severn estuary overlooking the M5 are exceptional. The only downside is the access road is very narrow with poorly maintained passing...More

A short walk from the car park, on a clear day, we were able to see the Severn bridge by Bristol 30 miles away. A beautiful view in all directions.
