This place is so welcoming and relaxing. We shared a bottle of red with what turned out to be the best roast I’ve ever had ! That’s no exaggeration..... the portions were perfect and I can’t stop thinking about how delicious it was ! Thanks...More

pop in Saturday night on a night out with friends sat in garden area that was amazing done out. very busy pub and enjoyed the time spend in here

Fab food! I had a brocolli and blue cheese soup! My husband had a halloumi salad and the kids had fish and chips, sausages and chips and burger and chips! All the food was great. Highly recommend. Nice atmosphere too.

We looked around for a place for Sunday lunch and decided the 'quirky looking' Black Lion was for us.....we hadn't booked a table so had around a 30 minute wait...but boy was it worth it! I recommend if your staying/visiting Brighton on a Sunday then...More

We visited here on the Sunday about 8pm. It was very busy but we were the only ones eating. We ordered the Sunday dinners which were really good apart from the Yorkshire puddings were extremely hard (I left mine it was that hard to chew)....More
