Wandered around the graveyard and enjoyed reading the headstones of the famous people buried there. Inside, the only part that really stood out was the mural on one section of the walls, other than that, it was just another church.

A really nice, well built Victorian church, which has an area on the right hand side as you go in called “PARRY,S” as a small coffee shop. They seem to think that there is a lot of restoration work to be done, but I was...More

Best to go there at lunchtime, when they usually have a concert & sandwich bar. The church itself is almost the size of a cathedral & is well worth a visst.

What a gem in the heart of Bournmouth. Beautiful stained glass windows, striking mosaics and an air of complete tranquility. Well worth a detour from the shopping area - just behind Beales.

Beautiful building and we go there every time we are in Bournemouth. Attended the 10am service on Sunday because it was supposed to be a sung Eucharist but sadly not this time. However, they had a brilliant organist and we would go again just to...More

We explored this church and graveyard on a very cold February day. Quite fascinated by the history and the famous people associated with the church particularly Mary Shelley who we did not realise was from this area. Sadly we were just too late to use...More

A superb Christmas Eve Carol Service. A packed church probably didn’t fully appreciate the glorious architecture in the building or the fantastic Victorian ornamentation. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes exploring the treasures of this wonderful structure.

The chapel in the churchyard is the Resurrection Chapel. It was originally built as a mortuary chapel for the main church (before public mortuaries existed) but has been used for various things in the last few decades, most... More
