Had a walk through the gardens on New Years day, what a fantastic job they have done with the decorations, lights and the ice rink. The city should be proud of them...

The lower gardens in Bournemouth which lead to the seafront and pier have put on a stunning Christmas display of tree`s and lights which made the walk through magical. Well done Bournemouth council I assume for putting on such a show.

During our visited the Lower Gardens hosted the Christmas Tree Wonderland. The gardens by themself are beatiful. Now there were even more pretty with illuminated Christmas trees and figures. It was certainly great to back in Bournemouth after more than twenty years of absence!

The Lower Gardens is a beautiful free area within the Bournemouth Centre. There is no fee or entrance chares. Just a lovely area for a good walk with various flowers, plants & places to enjoy along its paths.
