Very difficult to get parked if you arrive after 10am on a scorching hot day. Also a little way to walk to get to the beach from the car park, beware disabled persons not a good beach for you to access

Simply a fantastic large clean beach. I first went he as a toddler, and am still going now, er, aged about 40ish :) Well known for being one of the best beaches in the UK, which it is certainly is

We visited on a quiet Monday with beautiful weather so maybe different at other times but the sandy beach was so clean and so quiet with easy parking. Drinking water along the path made it possible to stay hours on a hot day. Showers along...More

Quieter and not so manic. Summer months is always people there, The local council is always trying hard with this lovely area.... Expensive parking!!

Beach is very busy especially near the Beach Huts and Bistro on the Beach .On Saturday it was full of people with Marquee type tents having parties load music and BBQ s even though you are not allowed to have BBQs before 6pm .Most people...More

great day out with kids nice clean beach with life guards in attendance clean tiolets even when busy changing rooms and shower pub and food outlets on front what more could you want SUN

Really lovely beach with a few cafes dotted along the promenade if you require a drink or quick snack. Great for walking the dogs but note no dog's allowed on the actual beach between May 1st & September 30th which is understandable. Some other parts...More

My favourite Dorset beach. While I don't lie on beaches, a walk along the promenade and then beach to Hengistbury Head is a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours!
