The promenade could do with cleaning up, the state of the disabled toilets were absolutely filthy and disgusting. My wife said the normal toilets were the same. Would not recommend this seaside resort to anyone. Needs cleaning up.

Southbourne Beach is between Boscombe & Hengistbury Head beaches.

Ok, it's not as nice as Bournemoputh or Sandbanks, but it;s not as busy either.
The parking is reasonable, but there is a steep slope down to the beach. You have been warned if you travel on wheels.

Hi Stacey, I don't think so (not that I have seen on my many visits). However, there is a (motorised) train that runs along the promenade at Boscombe and another that runs from the pier, through Boscombe chine and to Boscombe town centre. One of these may run further East towards Southbourne as well, but not sure. Hope that helps.
