Good selection of books, organised well in a nice setting. One of us bought a book and found that when we got home it was signed!

We popped in here after having been in the gift shop around the front of the building. I found a couple of nice old volumes at just 50p each and the kids picked up a few books, we would have taken a lot more but we were already carrying a lot of stuff.
All sorts of literature in what looks like an old church, a lovely location.

Little gem, tucked at the side of the amazing Town Hall building. Good selection of 2nd hand books at good prices - ideal for those of us who ran out of books on holiday! Friendly and helpful staff - think they are volunteers? Good to know proceeds go towards local good causes.

The lovely buildings are situated as you head out of Lynton on the right. The actual room is through the main door and it's on the right.
Very well stocked second hand book shop with reasonable prices, well worth a browse for sure.

This second hand bookshop is within Lynton Town Hall & I stumbled across it while looking for the information centre.
It is a very good size with books for all ages & tastes.
I know that books are going somewhat out of “fashion” so it is good to see books being loved in this way.

On our walk we came across this community bookshop; & as usual we popped in. They have worked hard to set up a wonderful place more on the basis of a professional library than some libraries I've visited. Unfortunately my wife couldn't find any books of her favourite authors she hadn't read.

I absolutely adore finding little second hand bookshops like this on my travels. Friendly staff, clean and organised. Sadly nothing which had my name on it today but I enjoyed browsing

If you are passing through Lynton and are at all interested in reading, you have to visit this place!
Amazingly friendly staff, brilliant selection of books both old and modern and situated in a lovely old building.
We had to drag our English Lit student daughter away before she bought the lot, and we still came away with 2 bags full.
Thanks.

My husband and I found this little bookshop last year on a trip to Lynton, it was one of the first places we visited this year during a longer stay in the area. Its a real treasure, everything is well organised, the people manning the shop are really friendly and so polite. We always manage to pick up a few titles and great prices - the community should be very proud.

This secondhand bookshop is very well organised, along the lines of a proper library with a goodly selection of books. Well worth a visit
