Lovely place chock full of old 'stuff' from immediate locality. A must for anyone interested in Lynton and Exmoor. Get chatting to the volunteers - the one attending when we went there was fantastic and chatty being an ex farmer

Nice small museum, stuffed full of all sorts of oddities and curios. It perhaps wouldn't be particularly engaging to families with younger children, but worth going to for a quick visit

Plenty to see in this quaint, eccentric little museum. I spent a good hour or more totally absorbed by the many fascinating exhibits and relics of village life. I was particularly taken by the folders of ephemera relating to the flood disaster of 1952 and...More

This is a great little museum, which charts the local workers and people. Although small, entrance is reasonable. Check opening times, as this was my third visit, luckily I found it open this time :)

The museum is quite small and if there are a few people there it might be awkward. Sorry I don't know if dogs were banned
