It is a tiny information office in the town hall, but here you will get maps, leaflets, and information, to help ensure you get the best out of your visit. The town hall has very interesting architecture too.

A typical tourist information centre which lived up to its billing perfectly. Easy to find (in the town hall) and crammed with many leaflets etc. about the surrounding area. The lady staff member we spoke to was also very friendly and helpful.

Didn't know about the floods in 1952 but I do now. Rather sad to see how many people lost their lives.

It was a shame that TIO was staffed by one elderly lady, budget and lack of volunteers made it difficult for her to help. It's a shame that a historical build can be used as TIO (Tourist Information Office)

Walked into the TIO but was met by and elderly lady, to be told that the TIO was closed as budget cuts and no vollenteers, that's sad, a beautiful historical building but of no use

This is not really a review of the tourist office, but intended to inform visitors that there are NO banking facilities in this absolutely beautiful and friendly town. Credit cards are widely accepted but the only cash machine we could find was in a supermarket....More
