We visited Lynmouth on a very wet day so we went to find shelter in the Pavillion. We had a lovely lunch. The girls enjoyed a cheese and ham toastie and I enjoyed white baite followed by a cream tea (we couldn’t not visit Devon...More

We had a quick look around here one afternoon. The gift shop is quite nice, we also asked a member of staff (who was polite and helpful) to put on the film about Exmoor, which was very informative (it lasts about twelve minutes) You can...More

Shop worth a visit and Centre helpful if you need to know about the area. The staff were friendly and offered help if needed. You can then go upstairs to the café (has a lift).

This refers to the Pavilion Dining Room which has its own page ("The Pavilion Dining Room") rather than the National Park Centre. However, we are pleased you enjoyed the milkshake!

Convenient location and well laid out information centre for Exmoor. Very friendly and helpful staff. We picked up some useful information leaflets and ideas, if the weather had been better there were a lot of good walking maps available.

Been coming here for the last fifty years or so. Came to the cafe after a walk around High Lyn and looked round here too. Great centre, lots of information available, books to purchase.

A very interesting time spent at the Pavilion Centre, nice cream tea upstairs too. It was great learning about Exmoor and the layout of the centre allowed you to do this very efficiently. Nice place, with knowledgeable and attentive staff..

Really nicely presented and laid out visitor centre. Staff were friendly. Lots of the normal information - walk books, local attraction leaflets, etc. Sweet little cinema which showed some old news reels about the 1952 flood. Various interactive displays to keep little people interested. Worth...More
