On the fringe of the town and just over the bridge on the way into the city the pub stands out and invites you in even when you're still in your car. We were looking for a B&B, the man behind the bar pointed down...More

Any thoughts you might have about Chester being a genteel and posh kind of place take a severe dent when you go into the city centre for a pint. On a Saturday night, having come from other city centre pubs full of drunks, weirdos and...More

Desperately in need of a refurbishment. The price of the beer suggests a 4 star establishment but very tired with a desperate need for improvement. Go elsewhere you'll thank me for it

Don't go there it's an awful pub with a clientele of locals who seem pretty hard on their luck. Not a place to go to. Brooke street is boarder line Eastern European.
