Excellent days
Oct 2016 • Family
We came to Carden Park for a two days visit. The staff were excellent and having 8 Grandchildren in our party ranging from 5 to 16 they had a whale of a time. Zip wire at night plus Jeep nightime run was brill also golf and Segway which lasted over the allotted time again Staff were excellent. Will certainly book again Thanks to all staff who made this a very remarkable experience

Excellent events team, good motivators with the accent of fun. They are excellent on safety issues that matter in this sort of activity.

Great for archery and shooting
Mar 2014 • Solo
Had a great afternoon shooting arrows and air rifles with my teenagers. Great facilities and location in the woods. Once tried the segways here which were good but delamere woods is a better bet for this. Recommended though for a good day out if you have deep pockets. The driving range is good value though.

We have stayed at Carden Park many times all year around and the children love the activities provided at G3 Muddy Good Fun. Beautiful setting in grounds of the hotel and the staff are very friendly. The family can have a great weekend there.

Just got back from a fun afternoon over at Carden Park's Muddy Good Fun, and its well named.
We had an hour riffle shooting and an hour of archery, cost was £90 for the lot and although its pricey, it was well worth it.
We had so much fun on the riffles, our instructor (I think it was Johnny) was lovely and really made us laugh, there were lots of things for us to shoot at and he made it a real competition for us. The archery was ok but the kit is a bit out dated and could do with being replaced, saying that it was still fun even when the rain kicked in.
We had a great day and it was made all the better for having such a fun and friendly instructor working with us.
We will definitely be going back again soon. . .
we have a date with a rabbit!

Segway disaster
Jun 2014 • Friends
We were looking forward to a good hour of fun on the Segways - but was very disappointed,
Arrived to be informed that 1 of the Segways was not working so we only had 3 rather than the 4 booked and one of these had a flat tyre! Albeit we had paid for an hour we only really had 30mins if that as by the time they got them out and set up (albeit we had booked weeks in advance) we also had to keep getting of the Segway for the instructor to show us what to do - I think she had more fun than we did! Also due to the weather and lack of Segways we only went up and down on the grass verge instead of going around the forestry track we were initially told about. All in all very disappointing We had previously been on the Segways at Delamere Forest which was awesome and certainly good value for money. Don't waste your money on Carden Parks Segways go to Delamere for some real good fun

Idiots
Aug 2014 • Friends
I booked my Hen and Stag do with this company but when I tried to get in touch a week before I couldn't get through. On the day, my guests and I arrived at the venue to find that the company had stopped trading at that location and my booking had been made in Chester rather than Lincolnshire. Thankfully another company was able to save the day but due to Muddy Good Fun's poor website management they lost the custom of 23 people.

I can't review the staff or venue but would advise against relying on this company to get anything right. Their webpage is still outdated. Not muddy 'good' fun at all!

Great fun and staff
Jul 2014 • Friends
We tried both laser clay and segway. The staff were really fun and friendly and seemed keen to ensure that we were not only safe and understood how to complete each activity, but determined that we would also have fun. We took the activities on consecutive days and were thrilled that the staff had discussed that we would be up for a laugh and could take a bit of good natured micky taking for our second activity! Make sure you dress appropriately for each activity, but you will be supplied with safety equipment were necessary. For busy periods such as school hols, you would be advised to book activities far enough in advance or you may miss out on something you really want to do as its booked up. (Sessions are scheduled for a pre-determined amount of time.) We didn't quite get our preferred timings but that was entirely our own fault. If I said one negative, it would be the pricing. I am not aware of how much these activities cost in other places, but I did find them a little more expensive than I would have hoped - definately worth it though, and I would visit again as there are many more I would like to have tried. If you only do one thing, please try the segways, they were amazing and I can't wait to try it again :-)
