Not quite the Venetian original but pleasing on the eye nevertheless. Easily incorporated into a city walking tour.

Just like the mathematical bridge, I got to see this bridge while I was punting, but can't say that there's much more than having a quick look at it and taking a picture.

This famous bridge features in so many pictures of Cambridge. It has to be seen. The bridge has a charming story associated with it and it is well worth attending a tour to find out more.

If you choose to enjoy punting down the River Cam, you will pass under this lovely bridge. It’s history and architecture is lovely. Highly recommend.

Basically a covered bridge over the river Cam It is a pretty bridge though not at all like its namesake in Venice. You will see it if you do a punting trip along the colleges but not worth seeking out as a destination in itself.

There are 2 ways to see it: 1. The bridge actually is a part of the St. John's college and joins the 2 halves of the college across the canal. If you are interested in getting inside the college campus with a 10 pound entry...More

Unless you get into the college the bridge is only really visible form a boat. We did walk across it, and while you get nice river views, you don't get much of the bridge. So, a punting tour or rental it is.

Of course the best place to get a good view of the Bridge of Sighs is from the water, so a trip on a punt really is a must. The design and architechture is fantastic. Nothing like the modern concrete structures built to day, which...More

Yes, there is a large WW2 American cemetery just to the north of Cambridge. Not easily walkable for the Bridge of Sighs. Bus or taxi
