House of a former prime minister, there’s more to see than you expect. Not only do you have some fabulous rooms but there’s lots of war history and recently-discovered secret activity went on here. Well worth a visit

I love visiting National Trust properties in the UK and this impressed. Every volunteer was happy, cheerful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The Gardens are amazing. Just go!

I walk here regularly especially in the current heatwave, as a lot of the walks go through forest, which is cool and lovely. The gardens are well maintained and theHouse itself is a delight to visit.

This national trust property is definitely worth a visit. The manor is beautifully presented. The gardens are really lovely and a must is a walk through the extended grounds, the woods and park, which has a river running through.

No. Parking is free and you can access the grounds and surrounding walks but you have to pay to go into the house.
