We were doing an "800 words" (TV show) locations 'tour'.I had researched locations for my daughter who is a big fan of the show.Piha beach is used on the show and it was fun to see.Another spectacular wild NZ beach. Very close to Karekare Beach.

Piha Beach is lovely place to take a walk on one of New Zealand famous black sand beaches. We actually found some great shells and the view from the climb up Lion Rock was stunning! The public bathrooms are clean and well placed.
