It’s a nice spot to just watch planes touch down and take off. Planes still have something magic. Every time I’m at the airport I take the time to just watch for a bit.

not a bad place to take photos from but can be very windy so if you go in winter wrap well a take you own food as the cafe is quite expensive.

The ice to come up with a nice panaroma terrace is awesome...but I guess the implementation is not that good at all...runway is visible but where the flights takeoff you cannot view it...but still recommended to visit if you have some time either in transit...More

If you enjoy aircraft this is nirvana. Aircraft of all types and sizes and to watch them moving is quite a treat. Nearly enough of a reason to go to the airport.

It's one of the few airports in the world with such a terras. You get a perfect view of the platform , the airplanes, the infrastructure and all that is related, see the pictures I'll post!

Depend on how much time you have. Schiphol is quite big when you have to walk. You have to get out through the immigration first.

I was there yesterday and pretty sure i saw a guy having a radio scanner with him yes. I didnt see anything about it not being allowed.
