Your ONE STOP SHOPPING destination for all things LOCAL to Prince Edward County Ontario. THE LOCAL STORE is within the walls of a restored dairy barn built in the late 1800s. Over 150 artisans have their wares for sale: fine art, pottery, jewellery, woodworking, glass, basketry, fabric art, sculpture, quilts, soaps, photography, greeting cards and books. For all of the foodies out there, we over 30 local food producer's products. Upstairs in the huge hayloft is a gallery with quilts and large original art, furniture and other fabulous products. There are windows with spotting scopes overlooking pastoral protected wetland and a small goat herd. For the kids, there is a children’s Animal Book store. Also, explore two vintage areas: Hayloft Antiques and Silks: Vintage Accessories. Check out our event calendar on our website for “What’s Happening” as there are frequent special events, demonstrations and presentations. Truly, something for everyone. Open 7 days week from May- November: Monday - Thursday 1030-5, Friday - Sunday 1000 - 530 pm - Visa, MasterCard, Debit accepted.

Fantastic shop with many types of goods from local artisans. Art, soap, spices, jams, clothing, coffees, teas, hot sauces, antiques, pottery can all be found here plus many more. Well worth a stop and you won't leave emptu handed.

What a wonderful place to check out! They have art, antiques, bath products, jewellery, ALL made by local people! We came here with our kids and it was worth driving out of our way to see!
