Took elderly parents for an afternoon excursion. Great location, accessible for those with limited mobility. Clean and beautiful place for a day trip.

worthwhile trip with friends. walk sit stroll have a picnic . ample shade. ample parking , just don't feed wild life and watch for cars parked by road as there may be wild life around . take lots of pictures .have fun.

Visitors to Calgary with only a short time to spend might want to get out and see the "Falls" area in Elbow Falls Provincial Recreation Area. Take a selfie, do a short hike, have a picnic, very easy to navigate. Scenic and beautiful.

The Elbow River is still a major river, and it all squeezes through a narrow gap in the rocks making Elbow Falls. Since the big floods of 2013, it's not quite as spectacular, but still interesting to experience. There are not a lot of picnic...More

Ahhh rushing pure clear water ... visit earlier in the day or on weekdays ... take a short walk or have a simple picnic.

Its a lovely little place to visit and relax for a bit. As it is a waterfall you do need to be careful if you decide to go over the barrier ( I advise not to ) as it can be very dangerous. Other then...More

Went to Elbow always spectacular. It it a must see if you are near Bragg Creek. It is so peaceful there I could stay forever

Hi, yes there are public, dry toilets on site. The parking lot is flat and the first part of the pathway is very accessible for wheel chairs and walkers. There is a viewing area close by to see the falls comfortably. The... More
