What a great time tasting and talking. The owner spent time talking about his history in the valley and all his varieties of wines. How they established the first winery in the region and the family still hand crafts all the wines. Worth exploring.

St. Lazlo is our favourite winery in the entire Okanagan over a 15-year period. We don’t judge a book by its cover, nor a winery by how fancy it looks. It’s a small unpretentious wineshop with the best prices, seemingly a one-man operation, but Joe...More

We arrived in the afternoon. The guy was drunk and not too friendly. His wine tasted very musty. Some of it was 10 years old, bad for fruit wines. We are not wine snobs that expect a fancy tasting room, but that place is a...More

You owe it to yourself to see firsthand what this family has done. No there isn't opera playing in the orchard. No there isn't a sophisticated tasting room with self-exiled hipsters living a dream. This is one family (mainly Joe) doing all the hard work...More

No frills. Nothing fancy. If you want a unique wine experience come to this local gem. St. Laszlos is one of British Columbia's oldest wineries. One of the original six. Because of this Joe the vintner offers wines that have aged a few years. We...More

We enjoyed our visit, Joe is very nice, and we really enjoyed tasting the wine. It was too bad the sweeter fruit wines weren't available when we were there, but we would definitely come back to try them if we are in the area.

I went with my adult daughter here by off chance. Joe was very hospitable and let us taste the wine without charge. He showed us around his place. He is obviously very knowledgeable. His wines are all sweet, like him. Would recommend a stop in.

Excellent wine, no- additives. It is a bit out of the way, not much to look at but excellent wine. Has a sweeter taste and is quite different than these big wineries. Will be back!!

This is a small, family business. The grounds and tasting room aren't fancy but the proprietor doesn't worry about that. He works hard and takes pride in making a quality product. We have come through the region every couple of years and we always make...More
