About Crystal Mountain Scenic Gondola Ride
The Mt. Rainier Gondola takes you to the top of Crystal Mountain where you'll find the best view of Mt. Rainier and the Summit House Restaurant. It's an experience unlike any other. On a clear day you can see 5 Northwest volcanoes. Each gondola seats up to 8 people and is a 12 minute ride each way. Open for sightseeing during the winter (Nov-April) and summer (June-Sept.). Schedule varies.

I used the Mt. Rainier gondola during winter to enjoy the views from the summit of Crystal Mountain, and have lunch at the summit house. The ride was $24 roundtrip, and took about 12 minutes each way. At the top there are awesome views of...More

Don’t believe their report on their website. I spent a night yesterday with pretty much an inch of rain and they just say the snow level is “below “ the summit. It rained all night and the least they could do is tell the truth...More

We paid $22 per person to go up on Gondola, we thought that was a bit steep!! We weren't that impressed, maybe in the winter it would be more scenic!

The gondola ride to the Crystal Mountain summit is worth the expense in order to see the view of Mt. Rainier and other mountains in the area. This is one of those things that is rather expensive, but it often a 'one time opportunity'...don't miss...More

Not with the smoke the way it is right now. Not worth the expense to go up if your main reason is to go for the view.
