First time there. This park was built as mountain biking trails but is used in the winter for snowshoeing and fat bike riding. This is quite a network. When we went, the trails were beaten but still provided soft snow. It was also snowing fairly hard at the time. Not being familiar with the trail system we were always prepared to just return on our path. Although via the slope of the terrain and a communication tower at the top of a mountain as a reference point, we did adventure on other trails and made it back a few hours later to the parking. There is a detailed map at the parking lot but unless you have a good memory not easy to figure it out until you experience it. The volunteer guild should be proud of this project. Quite something. Can’t wait to make it back this summer to bike. We saw one sign about an hour in that mentioned about paying. It was not clear where or how or if this applies to summer, winter or both. On Edmundston tourism page, under snowshoeing, there is no reference to this.

A must if you love MTB!
Sep 2015 • Solo
I moved in the region a bit over a year ago and had already been doing MTB around the area of Quebec City.
The trails are not as technical as what I used to do, but there are very very well maintained and fun to ride.

Slopes are good enough to give you a work-out but not so steep that a child or someone not in marathon shape can easily ride with you.

The team behind this is very proactive. They are constantly doing upkeep on the trails and are also building new ones. Please take the time to get a day pass or a season pass if you come.

Map of the trails can be downloaded on the Ondago app on your smartphone to be consulted as you ride. This is theost convenient since not all junctions are identified. You can easily find your way using back to the parking lot using the North or South indications along the trails, but it makes it easier to discover all the trails with the app.

Trails are close to downtown and make for an easy ride if you stay in a hotel or B&B close (Four points Sheraton or Auberge Aucoin).

Enjoy!
