We stopped to check out the wooden derrick and the coal train. The building was closed at that time in the morning.

There are some stuffed real life animals (grizzly, wolves, black bear cub) inside that are great to get your kids pics next to. The information available is up to date and relevant. Clean.

If you want local advice on Fernie and surrounding districts in BC this is a one stop shop. Good wifi and excellent taxidermy animal displays.

Hi there, Yes, you could take the Greyhound from Fernie to Banff. It's a pretty long ride but it's your most economical option.
