Overview
More
Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park straddles the scenic Little Qualicum River, west of Parksville, where impressive waterfalls cascade and plummet down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting. Perhaps the most magnificent park on Vancouver Island, Little Qualicum Falls incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, adjacent to MacMillan Provincial Park and the awesome Cathedral Grove Rainforest. Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.

Easy walking trail and not busy, wonderful west coast vegetation and plants. I saw native saskatoon berries and in April the fawn lillies.

This park has some great hiking trails that give you choices about difficulty and length. Hike through the forest to the edge of the small canyon and look down at rushing waterfalls. There are lots of benches for a lunch stop or just to sit...More

It's a quick hike to spectacular, thunderous falls, with several good vantage points. On a busy day, parking on the main road was chaotic.

Great day for a hike, light rain and 20c, and the trails were well marked and perfect for the hike. The views of the falls and trees along the paths covered with moss and lichen are gorgeous, a trail that I would recommend on your...More

Great stop on the way into Tofino or on the way out. Not busy and the hike on full trail is under an hour. The upper falls is quite nice with lots of look out and great photo opportunity. Worth the stopover.

a nice place but a serious walk for seniors. A good quick view with an easy walk close to parking is to park at the first noticeable parking on the left side of the roadway just before the main parking area. A short walk -...More

We stopped here between two towns to stretch our legs and have a look at the falls. It’s a lovely little spot, easy stroll. And the campground looks lovely!

There was, I’m told, a fee a long time ago. There is no charge at this time. There has not been a charge for many years.
