This was a great discovery. Nice quiet beach with great swimming. Islands nearby. The water was warm in July.

Gorgeous, natural BC. Great for swimming, hiking, picnicking, and camping. If you love the outdoors, this park and adjoining Horne Lake are worth visiting.

It's so warm and beautiful. Love it. With it wasn't a dirt road and it was a bit cleaner. Love to swim to the island. It would be q nice area to live.

Such a beautiful hidden gem!!! A lovely evening swim!!! Warm and quiet!! Clean beach areas and water!! No motorized equiptment makes it such a peaceful spot!! Beautiful!!

A local once told me it's because there are a lot of areas off of it that when seen from above look like the legs of a spider.

I'm not sure. It's pretty rugged and the paths that are there are all dirt. When were you thinking of going?? I might be able to get up there and check before you go all the way out there??
