This is a beautiful, peaceful, clean and warm lake for a relax and swim. Scenic and very family friendly. Only human powered boats allowed, with lots of islands and areas of the lake to explore on your paddle board, kayak or little dinghy! Several nice...More

Spider Lake Provincial Park in scenic Qualicum Beach British Columbia is difficult to find parking but if you do worth the view of the lake. Could be better organized which is a little unusual for British Columbia parks they usually do it better.

I only stopped by for a swim. Though I prefer cold out-of-the-way swimming destinations, I enjoyed the warmish water! I didn't evaluate other aspects of the park.

If you have a kayak, explore the whole lake, it's worth it! From the beach one can only see a fraction. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the dust on the access road and the parking. Could be handled better!

A long dusty ride, water was high so nowhere to sit. Hardly any parking. Very disappointing. I heard it was such a great place to swim and there's a beach? Couldn't find any beach. I drove around the whole park twice! I was here in...More

This lake close to Qualicum Beach is the perfect place to relax on the beach or throw a line in for some Bass. No motors allowed makes this a very quiet lake perfect for kayaking. Shallow bays clear water and nice sandy beaches complete the...More

This is a nice little lake to picnic or go canoeing on. Much quieter than I expected. Unfortunately, you need to bring your own watercraft, no rentals on site.

Easy Parking not too busy and a great place for kayaking, supping, etc. Water is pretty warm and calm.

This place gives easy access to beach picnic areas but you could continue on the hikers trails for private beaches or by boards/kayaks to your own private island beach/swim area.

I'm not sure. It's pretty rugged and the paths that are there are all dirt. When were you thinking of going?? I might be able to get up there and check before you go all the way out there??
