We wanted to visit a park close to home and we were pleasantly surprised by this really nice and quiet provincial park. We also enjoyed kayaking on Bass Lake. Clean, friendly, quiet park. Will return again.

Off busy road. Easy to find and get to. By bike or car, no busses or trains. Children play area. Family friendly area. Booking a site in advance is best they go quickly from may 20 to September. Great swimming, people also fish further out.

Campsites are large and private with lots of trees. Lakeview area is the best section of the park. Washrooms are plenty and cleaned regularly. The beach is great and bring your fishing pole.

Not with in parks waters. I'm not sure if they have a boat launch but there should be one in town. The park shares the water with cottagers.
