It’s a nice spot, unfortunately the lake is somewhat un-swimmable. However in the summer it’s really fun to fish here and go on hikes. Lots of wild life!

This park is nice. It's quiet even though it's close to the highway. It's a bit of a walk to get to the lake but it's a relaxing walk and the trails are well marked. The park is close to the golf course and only...More

We decided to get some exercise and a friend recommended Charlie Lake. Lots of trails from beginner to more difficult that were lovely to walk in summer, but I'm presuming would be even better snowshoeing or cross country skiing in winter. Easy to navigate with...More

It's very pretty and a clean park. Even the outhouses were clean and didn't smell. We only got to hike one trail that was very beautiful. I would recommend good foot wear since there was roots and twigs to trip over. There was a playground...More

Went on a sunset watching/photo taking mini trip. Really enjoyed the view from the cliffs and it being a warm night it would have been great for star gazing.
