The Petroglyphs at Sproat Lake Port Alberni scenic British Columbia are ancient rock art. It is a humbling experience to see these megalithic stone etchings in person almost as overwhelming as natures hoodoo formations in Drumheller Alberta.

Wish we planned longer to swim. Walked a little to petroglyphs, admired and headed back on road trip. Lots of locals swimming and paddling boats. Water looked great.

Encountering carved drawings from First Nations is mindblowing to me! To see evidence of thousands of years old is really beyond comprehension.
