It is not often you can start a hike at the summit of a mountain but this is one jewel in the glittering sky of Canadas’ National Parks. Hiked out along the trail leading to Eva Lake under a lowering cloud a bit late in...More

We enjoyed seeing Rvelstoke National Park. The weather wasn't great on the day we went but we still enjoyed seeing the park and walking some of the trails.

A wonderful park to explore with lots of hiking options. It appears to be quieter than Banff and Jasper National Parks which therefore means you have more time and space to appreciate the beautiful scenery.

A National Park that shouldn't be overlooked when crossing the Rockies on the way between Alberta and British Columbia.

The ride down the mountain on the pipe coaster wAs about 3 min of excitement for our family of four. We went early and were there before 9am. We read horror stories about massive waits but ours was only about 10 min. The kids liked...More

Almost certainly. However, this is a fairly high altitude location, so the weather can be unpredictable. Early snow is always a possibility, but even with light snow the trails will still be open. Make sure you are geared up... More

By the way I recommend you bring bug spray. We had it and had no problems but saw many people without and it was a problem.
