Great chance to stretch your legs en route to Ottawa. The driveway is very rugged and is on the north side just west of the bridge going over the river. There is a creamy colour sign that is not very obvious at driveway. My SUV...More

I was looking for a place to go, that was out of the way and away from people. I had heard about Egan Chutes through a fellow photographer. I went during the week, and even tho I drove by the first try, I eventually found...More

Great place for a bike ride. Make sure you bring bug spray. The trails are beautiful, the waterfalls were amazing. Great place for a peaceful stroll. Wear walking or hiking shoes!

This park is not gated nor monitored, and not well-signed. You need to keep an eye out for the York River sign as you travel east out of Bancroft on Hwy 28. There is a path on each side of the river. There are three...More

Didn't know about this spot until a very friendly OPP officer actually drove us out to it. We followed him and have been back twice since, sharing the spot with family & friends when we are in Bancroft.

A great little area to use for a hike and picnic or just as a rest stop. Beautiful scenery and good access.

This is a facility-free Provincial Park. We parked at the access road on the west side of the bridge and walked the 2 km along the old road to the Chutes and the small lake where the river leaves the Chutes. The ealk is easy....More
