My recommendation to find an answer to your question is to ask the operator directly in a private conversation. you should have asked in private, and would have likely received a proper answer, which would have educated you on dogsledding and Alaskan huskies. Try this instead of shaming operators publicly without first talking to them and asking in private. We have used Brad and Leah's services and they treat their animals excellent. Ask them, they will explain how.
