Great hiking trails to the high or low knoll lookouts! Watch for the small toads on the trails in August and black bears in summer. It’s a great wilderness escape and you feel like you’re miles away from civilization.

This park has a wide variety scenic elements in a fairly small area: trails overlooking swamps, forests, high points with lookouts. Lots of birds. Good exerccise as there are lots of terrain changes.

The family enjoys coming here for a nice easy hike up to the high knoll for the views. Easy to get to, lots of parking and nice scenic views

Visited this park last Sunday. Perfect sunny fall weather, splendid fall landscapes and great reflections on the pond. Highly recommend bringing a map for the park. It's large! Must say that the signage is good within the trail system. Lots of sign posts to guide...More

The park is somehow at the border Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam, approx. 10 km from Coquitlam Centre. So if you want a break from the city noise this is the perfect spot to recharge your batteries. You can go there to sit on a bench...More

This is a beautiful BC park; a few bears, deer and other small wildlife share the trails some days. Enjoy!

Hiking trails are well marked and vary in physical difficulty. I suggest hikers carry hiking poles because some stretches can be steep, rocky and slippery when wet. Watch out for protruding roots on trails. Nevertheless, a scenic and tranquil hike when the sun is out.

We had our medieval wedding in the lodge here. Perfect backdrop and atmosphere. There is a lovely loop to hike even with the family. Pack snacks for younger ones as it can take awhile. Trails are fairly well marked but could be better. We have...More

Hi, Alex. There is only a small marshy area - with no fishing - within the park, but the east side of the park borders on Pitt River, which has good fishing. Don't forget your BC fishing license!
