We came for the first day /night pink ball test. Don't do it again and certainly not this time of year. The stadium was empty, no atmosphere and so cold we were forced to leave early. Behind the seating there are large walkways to easily...More

We went there for the Test cricket against England. This is not a cricket stadium and does not pass modern regulations: if it were applying fro status a an international Test Cricket ground it would fail. The straight boundaries are too short and the use...More

Well organised for any event. Enough people outside and on the inside to guide you along when you are in doubt of where to go when you make use of public transport like trains or buses. Enough take aways in the park before and during...More

We went for the Test Match - saw NZ win and England bowled out for 58! The stadium is fantastic as are the facilities and I would love to watch rugby there but it is very impersonal and the wrong shape for cricket.

The stadium is well designed and has uninterrupted views from many parts of the arena to the playing surface. There are plenty of food and beverage outlets, although as always for these events it was not cheap. It was heartening to see that the authorities...More

I have always dreamt of watching a game here but every time I have been over, there has not been anything on, so hoping at the end of this year will be different. But at in January this year I managed to do the stadium...More

A real privilege to tour this historic stadium and whilst we had a fabulous day weather wise - I felt the tour majored more on the building construction; capacity and workings of the stadium as opposed to the real history steeped deep from momentous sporting...More

No atmosphere. Small crowd for what should have been a popular game, Blues v Chiefs, Apathy of Aucklanders astounds me and the ongoing underperforming Blues also astound me but most of all the fun police are ruining sport events in NZ. 4 over 50 year...More

Second night in Auckland from the UK and we had already booked our tickets for the Auckland vs Canterbury game when in the U.K. So excited to get the opportunity to attend a game at such an iconic stadium. Incredible experience for the children, they...More
