Any temple is a beauty in its own right. The temple's main deity is Shiva and this place is mostly frequented by ardent devotees. A place worth visiting if you are passing thorough this area *Visit*

The name is unpronounceable - but it is predominantly a Shiva temple with other deities as well. Venture here only if you are religious - else give it a miss.

Nileswaram is situated on the National Highway "17" just 4 Km south to Kanhangad town. Nileswaram is an abbreviation Neelakandeswaram related to Lord Neelakantha (Lord Siva). Another view is that the place named after Sage Neela who installed the idol of Eswara (God). Legend says...More
