this palace is situated on Kasaragod-Perla road, about 8 km from Kasaragod town. Maipady Palace is a popular site belonging to Kumbala kings. Madhur Village located in the proximity is also a popular destination among tourists.

Before you decide to go here remember that this is private property and not very much accessible to see in detail. The temple next door is accessible and possibly you can see bits of the place from outside. Movement is pretty restricted.

While big by local standards, calling this a palace is a bit of a stretch. Nothing worth seeing. I would give it a miss.
