8 kms from the Ananthapura Lake temple is Madhur Shree Madhanantheshwara SiddhiVinayaka Temple. When we went, the temple was undergoing massive restoration work. We could not see the main deity; however, the temple is quite big and getting a re-build.

Currently under renovation, it is advisable to visit before 730 am. Morning Pooja perfomed at 6am , afternoon at 7am till construction gets over. Beautiful temple.

Kind of south indian temple architecture, very calm and divine place. i would like to visit this place again. All temples near Kasargodu are very nice.

Madhur temple famous as Madhur Ganapathi temple situated in kasargod district of kerala. Around 6 km from city. River flows nxt to the temple. Temple's main deity is madanteshwara. Temple architecture resembles back of an elephant. (Gajaprishta type)

The temple is undergoing renovation. A board at the entrance declares the funds needed and seeks donations. Nothing particularly wrong with that but not sure why devotees or visitors would walk in when there is so much rubble around. We didn’t get to go inside...More
