Came across this place through a driver. It was well worth the stop. Excellent Bebali cooperative helping women in remote areas. Staff very willing to explain and the weaving and dying process. Purchased a beautiful scarf which is quite unique.

This proved to be an interesting place to visit and learn about the local weaving and dying techniques. The proprietor has preserved a local tradition worth saving, and the resulting textiles are gorgeous.
I found Surya Indigo on a whim. Driving my motor bike from Singaraja I spotted a big statue entering Pacung and decided to stop cause I had never seen how cloth was made using traditional methods.

it is a wonderful place, located in pacung village, not to far from singaraja district you can spent just only 1 hour from singaraja. No chemical, all about Natural color. it is a nice place ,you should come to this place (recommended).
