Overview
More
The Shoe Musem "Cav. Vincenzo Andolfi" thanks to its originality and variety represents an exceptional patrimony, almost unique in its kind. The exhibition space, divided in sections, illustrates the transformations that footwear has undergone throughout the centuries, letting the visitor discover a world little known but full of surprises. The visit starts with the ethnological section Shoes of all time and all places where the fusion of history, geography, fashion and design arouse emotions and curiosity. From the reproductions of the roman sandals to the footwear of the 20th century, with models of every age, feature and provenience, the collection ends with the most recent and audacious tests of the section devoted to the Footwear Industry, which preserves shoes representing the last decades of the 20th century, as well as the models and shoes manufactured by famous brands according to exclusive stylistic studies, which, for their innovative character, have won numerous awards worldwide.
