This used to be a famous shooting spot, clean and open for general public to enjoy the river. Now it feels like an extension of paschima vahini with all the last rights being performed here. It’s really such a shame that the basic cleanliness is...More

Not on the list of must-visit typical touristy attraction around the town is this hidden gem called Gosai Ghat. As the name says, it's a place used by the launderers (perhaps still today), so one would expect not so tidy, but you'd be pleasantly surprised...More

This is a ghat over River Cauvery. This is located very close to Sangam. If you want to spend some hours in solitude or avoid the crowd, this is a better place. Sangam is generally very crowded. Dodda Ghosai ghat is cleaner and there is...More

The place is a riverside stone bank built near a temple. It is a nice place to relax even if it is sunny as there are trees on the bank of the river and there is enough shade. Even if you don't visit the temple,...More

The Kaveri river water flows in this place. People take bath, wash clothes and do every sort of thing here. I must say the cleanliness is horrible. It's not at all maintained and you can find algae, waste plants, plastics covers everywhere. I must recommend...More

Nothing is there except a ghat. Until & unless you want to take a bath in the river there is no point visiting this place. On top of that they will charge you Rs.40 for parking.
