Over the years when in the area we have visited and walked in this beautiful place. We are told that there are lots of politics at play concerning various interests which conflict and which have lead to deforestation and deterioration. This is sad. What is...More

Great for walking, riding with the family. Terrain suits all types from recreational to brisk walkers - the outer track is over 4 kilometres in length, so you can work out according to your strength and fitness levels. Remember, walkers have right of way and...More

Excellent for a family braai in the outdoors. With extra security the forest is good for families with kids as an educational tool. Great outdoor bonding experience with family and friends. The entry fee and small price to pay for the pleasure..........

Fantastic spot for a dog walk while the kids can cycle ahead on their bikes. Best to go before 10h00 and from 16h00 in the afternoon when there are more park users. Try and not do this alone as there can be muggings. Dogs love...More

When visiting the Cape and needing to commune with nature while burning a few calories, one place of interest to do such activities is the Tokai Forest. This beautifully maintained area is where just about anyone can lace up on those runners and do anything...More

Gentle walking within suburban area. We walk here as a large group and feel safe. However, it is unfortunately not safe for single or even two or three females on their own.
