Definitely worth a visit, it's like transporting you back to old Manila glory days. Every corner is IG worthy.
Inside the resort has pools and beach access! They have free walk tour for check in guest, and have lots of paid acitvities to choose from.
They have several swings by the beach.
They have minis stores within the resort but note everything there is so Pricey. A can of coke is 130 pesos and small bottled water is 60 pesos like x4 or 5!!! No corkage fee so just bring your own snacks.
Alcohol bar by the beach! Love it.
Location: accessible by car, but you will be required to leave your car at their parking area near the main lobby and will be drop off to your hotel room by jeepney.
Visitors: mostly elderly people, few foreigners.
Hospitality: polite staff
Structures: old Filipino and Spanish, lots of cobble stone pavement to walk on, so avoid heels.
Price: booked at Agoda 1 night, Queen size. Booking comes with free breakfast, toiletries and small water bottles.
Buffet: food they serve is Filipino but mixed with America like waffles and breads.
Accomodation: late check in because there were a LOT of people. The room and bed is big! Restroom has a bathtub so bring your own bathtub soappy soap!
Note: read the safety guidlines posted behind the door to avoid slipping in the bathroom! I got bruised twice because of non compliance.

I wouldnt recommend a day trip as it is 3-4 hrs from Manila.
Do as we did and spend a few days to enjoy the activities at this resort. Its an amazing place to explore.
Do did things like historical walking tour and boating tour, Calesa Rides and the cultural Dancing. So many other things to do.
The pool is refreshing but does need some maintenance as the paint is peeling off.
There are several on site restaurants however when we visited mid-week not all were open due to to low occupancy. I still recommend visiting during the week as weekend day trippers will make this place very busy.
Highly recommended.

A day tour, arrived at 930 AM, we had to get out by 3 PM to avoid driving at night back to Manila
The Good
1) beautifully restored or replicated houses;
2) instagrammable photo ops
3) interesting boat tour alaVenice. Well versed snd funny tour guides
The Bad
1) The brochure was not clear that the lunch portion is “consummable” . We thought it was set plates or set lunch. So we had to pay additional ammount since we
Ordered the set lunch.
2) the Filipino restaurant - Very slow service. Even just serving the free pandan juice was verrry slow. Irritating!
Maybe it’s better to stay overnight on a weekend to enjoy all the shows and activities .

28 of us old dormitory friends decided to go as part of our reunion. When I made the reservation they asked me to pay within 3 days otherwise it will be automatically cancelled so I deposited the full amount in their bank account. After a few days I called to ask if senior citizen discount applies to the entrance fee and they said it does. I told them it does not appear anywhere in their website so I asked for the discount. I was told to email all our IDs and upon verification I can get a refund in 2-3 weeks. On arrival at the registration counter I was asked to register all our names one by one. Had they told me beforehand I could have printed the list to save time. And, they have all our IDs. What’s the point of making a reservation and paying in advance when we had to go through the same procedure as the walk-in guests? We had to line up same as the walk ins. And there was no staff dedicated to attend to the guests with reservation.
During the tour I noticed that some sites were not visited.I asked the guide why we were not brought up the 2nd floor of the Casa Hidalgo which used to house the UP College of Fine Arts(the university where we all came from) and she said it was being fixed. The other one not visited was a place where guests can stay and from previous visits it was interesting to see the features of a very expensive room. Guide said it was occupied. I think we were short changed and they should have offered replacement for those excluded in the tour.
We were not able to lunch at our preferred restaurant because in the first place it does not accept reservations and since we were a big group we would have to wait more than 1 hour, a luxury of time we did not have.
All in all it was a disappointment to a 4th timer like me and since I was the one who suggested this place and made arrangements I felt apologetic to the group. Good thing that we still had fun on our own. The place no longer mattered.

Came here for day tour from USA and do not recommend this place at all. Other than for taking a few pics of the architecture. They don’t explain the stuff well and just rush through it at a very fast pace and then hand you a map. The lady said we should do boat tour first due to tide. Then we get on a jeepney and rushed back to the boat tour as we are checking in the lady says 45 min wait as they only have one boat working but two are under the bridge with drivers just sitting in shade. We said okay we will walk over to the museum and walk back shortly and she said very rudely first come first served. We literally was first come and checked in but I guess they want us to sit in a hot building for 45 mins and roast instead. Then the Italian restaurant we waited for it to open and a large tourist group pushed past us and rudely cuts in front of us and the restaurant did nothing but accommodated their rudeness, oh and you can’t go in anywhere with shoes on. And the tour is advertised as including a meal but when you get here they say oh we just give you a credit of $500 peso pp and guess what most meals are over $500peso….. I do not recommend this place at all to any foreign tourist I have been to many places in the Philippines and loved most places a lot but this place leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The whole resort is just amazing, stunning view! Stuff are approachable, kind, and polite. I enjoyed their buffet bfast more than what we had on our dinner. Prepare huge budget, everything is expensive. Will visit again soon.

Fantastic, outdoor museum with houses transported from their original location. It is also a hotel that uses some of these houses for accommodation. I made day use that includes tour with explanations, small “boat” tour, charrette and lunch. The only thing that can improve is the food. It's 4 hours from Manila but it's super worth it.

This used to be one of the nicest places to visit in Eastern Bataan but unfortunately the entrance prices have gone absolutely mad. There is no longer a choice for an acceptable entrance fee and free walk-around. The only option now is a daytour at a staggering 2500 Php per person!! It includes multiple jeepney rides in the park and a 500 Php dining credit which can only be spent at the restaurant. Even then, what they’re offering is very poor for such an amount of money. We were so dissapointed to learn about this cunning and exorbitant price structure and so sad to see this cultural heritage becoming so insanely exclusive.

My partner, Lenard Bryan, and I availed of the day tour inclusive of lunch, snacks and welcome drinks, tour guide and a cold towel at the end of the tour.
Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a very large open-air museum slash heritage park slash resort hotel. This review is meant to comment only on its museum and park amenities.
The park has several large houses that are part of the tour which includes the history and special features of the old mansion. The best part of the tour is the energy and articulacy of the guides and they were successful in telling us the history of each houses in a fun and educational way! If all our History teachers taught us in the same way we would all end up as Historians!
Now, if you are planning to take a trip down our ancestral architecture lane, please note of the following :
A. Try to schedule your trip during weekdays to avoid the crowd (and for that 'solong-solo' photo opportunities!)
B. Make sure you bring snacks during your travel from Manila as it takes 2-3 hours of driving
C. Visit during the summer and most mansions will be closed during the rainy season (note that all of them are made partly of wood!)
D. Bring umbrellas as the heat can be overwhelming
E. Take the early morning or late afternoon tours
F. Wear a pair of slippers or loafers or those without laces as you would have to take off your shoes each time you get inside the mansions (and you do not want to be left behind by the group while you tie your laces)
G. Charge up your phones and cameras as they are hundreds of locations which are all picture-perfect!
Now you might not know but I am an accountant so I am including tips on how to be spend-smart during your trip :
A. Avail of the entrance only fee of P685 as it includes entry to all the open facilities and a tour
B. Mere entrance does not include free lunch and welcome drinks (this package costs P1,200) but you and your friends can share with the cost of lunch the viands of which average P500 eacg
C. If you are traveling alone, you can pack some lunch and sneak up to your car to eat!
D. Bring extra shirt especially during hot days as souvenir shirts are priced at P300-P385
All in all, the trip is well worth it as our history and culture are both priceless! For everything else, there's your plastic card - and yes, they accept credit cards!

Booked a Stay for a while package. (A whooping 23k) for 2nyts.
Includes full board meals, deluxe accommodation, pick up from balanga terminal, 45min spa for two, river tour, Travis ride.
Place - huge place with on going construction of old Hispanic/Filipino houses. Some are replicas and other houses were original and transferred to this place to preserve the heritage. One outdoor pool, river within the resort and a nice beach facing west Phil sea. To think they have 5 resto including a bar.
What I like: the river tour at night is really majestic the lights emanating from these huge houses are breathtaking. Tour will showcase the old houses which some is really scary and creepy. The room is great, spacious, separated bathtub and shower.stayed at the beachfront. Crew is very friendly. Everything here is picture perfect. Great for foreign visitors. Not to mention the spa.. such a relaxing massage we had.
What I don't like: one crew named George (gay), one of the frontdesk, he will inform you about the map of the resort is really Mean. He told us that we need to pay for the river cruise. I said it's included in the package and he confidently answered back "No". he never apologized after confirming that it is included. He talk as if he owned the resort.
The food is really expensive here. Small bottled water will cost 60 pesos. So bring water. Streetfood 10 pcs of kikiam will cost 90 pesos. Good thing we bought the package that includes full board meals.

I've heard that theres' and available ferry boat from MOA Manila to Orion port in Capinpin Bataan but we have to ride a bus or need a transpo from the port to the resort. Do you offer direct shuttle services from Orion port to Las Casas?
How much do you charge per person? Thank you.
Written January 25, 2019
Well, I'm just a tourist like you. And while we're there, my friend actually asked the receptionist there and they told us, that yes there is. But we didn't know and didn't asked how much. But they said it's much faster. I didn't know until then actually, coz I took my car to go there.
Written February 12, 2019
From Orion Ferry Port is there public transportation available or can anyone recommend a reliable driver for pick up and drop off? Many Thanks.
Written July 28, 2018
You can book in las casas in very affordable price. There are some private that can bring you there but I'm not sure the charges. You can book early so they can what time you will arrived in Orion for pick up.
