Beautiful part of Sydney. The beach is so clean and always space available
Life guards very vigilant - tournament on when we were there which was very entertaining and showed how fit the lifeguards are
Transport links are excellent - highly recommend

A brilliant bush walk with expansive ocean views… fantastic pathways - that cuts through the Australian Faina . Looking out for whales.

Maroubra was one of the better beaches along the coast south of Sydney Harbour. There is a large stretch of clean yellow sand and good waves. Overall a pleasant place. Take th coast walk from Coogee for interesting views

The first beach I seen in Australia ! Awesome place with a beautiful long beach and spotlessly clean. The waves are so dramatic and there is a strong current there hence the lifeguards who police the beach. On the beach there were many surf and body boarders happily doing their thing, a pleasure to watch. Other activities take place including volleyball, yoga, exercise classes etc. There is also skateboarding and barbecue areas where the barbecues are static so just bring your own! Alongside the beach runs a beautiful promenade and there is a beach restaurant. Facilities including toilets, showers and parking spaces are also available.
Whilst walking there everyone seems so happy to talk to you and I seen many people of all ages enjoying their time there, a beach for everyone !

Beach with a lovely picnic area. Spent the day here with the family and it was amazing. We enjoyed the take away fish and chips. There’s a nice walk way along the beach side. Worth the visit.

A beautiful place to chill out. I often walk to the cliff tops which is secluded and watch the sea. Great place for spotting whales. Ideal place if one is after peace and quiet.
Good place to surf and the beach front has many cafes and restaurants.
The weekends are rather busy.

A lovely wide beach, with loads of places near by to grab a coffee or bite to eat. A chilled vibe around the area.

It was rough when we were there, and the beach was closed but there were still lifeguards around.

Visited in February - so unfortunately a few bluebottles about but nonetheless a great beach that generally doesn’t get as busy as Bondi and Coogee.

First time going there and the beach was amazing, white sand and clear blue waters. The waves were decent and not dangerous to kids. If you walk further south there are two rock pools.

Comparing this with Cronulla beach there were more lifeguards on the beach and patrolling this area.

Summer day and scorching heat, the beach was packed. Parking was hard to find and took us a while to find parking. Once you find parking you hold it to dear life and maximise your stay.
