This trail is easy to overlook, as it isn't marked on the eastward drive toward the Rockies, although it is well marked heading west. This is probably because they don't want people stopping to make a left turn across traffic on a mountainous road. This...More

A perfect little stop to explore nature. Our 5 year old was able to do the trail with no complaints and the setting is gorgeous.

Most of the trail is shaded so it was nice even on a hot day. Trail starts off fairly level. Once you start going over the boulders though it becomes a little tricky. They have done an outstanding job with the trail here because it...More

Kids will enjoy scrambling around on the large boulders, but for us the proximity to the busy and noisy freeway made it feel less like actually being in the wilderness Very short walk - took us about 15 minutes (8 year old).

One of the best stops I made. If you happen to catch the turnoff make sure you take the time to see this great trail. Natural and man made blended together to make for a awesome trail.
